Most of us go through the winter suffering with some form of dryness to the lips. Well, it is time to get those lips into great shape. Gently exfoliate the lips and moisturize them well with a hydrating lip balm. I have found Pawpaw ointment to be a very good substitute for a lip balm.
For exfoliation at home, use a face washer when you are cleansing the face. Wet the washer and rub onto the lips to remove any dry skin. DO NOT exfoliate with a dry washer as you can tear the delicate skin on the lips and cause bleeding.
If you are a swimmer, put vaseline on your lips before you head off to do your laps and this will protect the lips from the chlorine.
If you suffer from severe dry lips, do not use any lipsticks that have a matt finish. They will only dry your lips out more. Try the oil based lipstics.

Glowing in Spring Secret!
Spring fever is here and we all want to look the part with a glowing light golden complexion.
Give yourself a bull body scrub or go and get yourself one at the Salon and start moisturizing with a Self Tanner. Too much color early in Spring can look a bit fake, so do yourself a favor and don't overdo it.
A good tip is to mix a quarter-size worth of your self-tanner with the same amount of your regular daytime moisturizer. This will dilute the self-tanner and give you just the right level of radiance. Repeat every few days to build up to the shade you desire.
Once summer hits, you can transition to your regular self-tanner.
